Mr. Robinson's Neighborhood

If you haven't, then you will.

When you do, you'll understand.

Denard Robinson has seemingly exploded onto the college football landscape in a manor that only he could: fast.

As a Michigan fan, even we, are a little surprised at what has transpired over the last two weeks. Truthfully we had an idea that he had some potential when he did this on his first snap:

But then the collapse happened. And Iowa happened. And we collectively crawled back into our comforting little holes and hoped for something special from the hoops team. (sigh!)

But then we were quickly reminding and we got a little more excited in the spring game when he did things like this:

But honestly these past two games have been truly amazing. I think it's safe to say that we, as a fan base, did not expect this. But you know what, we'll take it. Right now I don't really care if the secondary is being held together with McGyver bomb making materials. Or that our kicker seems to forget his purpose when on the field. Or that our running backs have been non-existent in the first two games (and really that's not fair because Denard is really just taking what the opposing defenses are giving him). I'm not going to worry about it any more. I'm just going to sit back and enjoy all the positive vibes Denard is bringing the program.

As we're learning, a little of this

goes a long way!

Here's a link recap of Denard-mania:

I don't want to say I'm in love with him just yet, because it's only been 2 games, but I find myself at work staring longingly out the window while thoughts of Shoelace run through my head.
