Ballot comparison

- I still like TCU and Boise more than OSU and Oregon. But clearly Alabama is number one and the other four could swap spots and it wouldn't bother me.
- I have Nebraska as the top Big 12 school. Although they haven't played anybody, with Texas losing and OU struggling against Cincy, it seemed right.
- I still can't get Florida's early struggles out of my mind, but I think after this week Florida will jump ahead of LSU.
- Stanford got the ND bump this week. I have to admit I think I missed on them slightly. They will likely see a jump next week.
- I was easier on Arkansas. They should have won the game but as a Michigan fan I wasn't surprised when Mallett did his Malletty-thing.
- Wow, Texas! I thought I was hard on them, but it looks like I wasn't alone.
- And the only real difference is my admission of KState vs NCState (of whom I think I have been wrong about as you will see in tomorrow Quick Buck post).

I really struggled this week with the poll, so I've been working on some metrics to help give me some direction. I will be taking a look at offensive and defensive efficiency and strength of schedule to help evaluate the teams. There is a real chance that next week's ballot will be completely different than this week's. So don't be totally surprise when it happens.
