Quick Buck Thursday

Now this is just embarrassing. QBT is now a wretched 0-14-1. Yes, I have yet to pick a winner. I can honestly say I don't know what the hell is going on. In gambling you are bound to win at least one just on sheer luck. Nope. Not here at Quick Buck Thursday. We are defying the odds each and every week.

But is that going to stop me? Absolutely not. The only thing for you to do now is to see what I've picked for the week and do the exact opposite. So with that in mind, let's get on with it:

Buffalo at Northern Illinois -14.5
I knew last week that I shouldn't have picked against NIU. I knew it, but I did it anyway. So this week I'm going to take, what probably is a worse bet, the Huskies. They are 4-1 ATS and are 2-0 as the favorite. Not to mention they are at home and after dispatching Temple have their eye on the MAC title.

Missouri +3.5 at Texas A&M
Who really knows what's going to happen in the middle of the Big 12 this year. And we're not really sure about Missouri. But they shut out Colorado and held down a recently surging Illinois team. I think Mizzou's D plays well and Gabbert does enough to get them the upset.

Idaho at Louisiana Tech +1
LA Tech is good at home. They are 8-1 ATS over the last 3 years and 2-0 against Idaho. I have no idea why, but there is something about Idahoans in Louisiana that makes La Tech compelling.

Iowa -3 at Michigan
What? No. This is in no way a reverse jinx. Not at all. Nothing to see here cosmic rulers. Move along. Go about your business. Destroy, destroy, destroy.

Utah at Wyoming +20.5
Well the CK Award just missed last week. But it was close. This week Utah catches the ire of the award and well it doesn't look good. Utah just obliterated ISU in Ames, which is tough to do. Maybe they'll be tired after traveling to Iowa State. I don't know man, Utah has a guy named Shaky Smithson. That's kind of bad ass.
