Quick Buck Thursday: Tale Of The Road Warriors

It's Thursday again and the Buck is feeling good on a short work week. You see tomorrow is Nevada Day. Yep a state holiday that my fine place of employment chooses to celebrate. And with last week's near sweep, the Buck is on a winning streak.

Let's review:
Cincinnati - 37
USF - 34
QBT Pick: Cincy +3
It's nice when  you call the upset. Always remember the money line on sure things like this kids

Arkansas - 29
Ol Miss - 24
QBT Pick: Arkansas -16.5
I totally forgot about the whole Houston Nutt thing. Missed that big time. But the lone blemish on the day.

Kansas St - 59
Kansas - 21
QBT Pick: KSU -14
Kansas is not good at football. Can KSU continue?

Oklahoma St - 45
Missouri - 24
QBT Pick: Ok ST -7
I told you I was baffled by this line.

Oregon - 45
Colorado - 2
QBT Pick: Oregon -32.5
The Colorado train keeps on chuggin!

Tennessee - 6
Alabama - 37
QBT Pick: Bama -29.5
I was sweating this out at the half but Bama turned it around in the second half.

All in all a good week! 5-1 I'll take it all day. Let's see what's on tap this week.

Continental Breakfast
Michigan St +4 @ Nebraska
The Spartans are for real. Their defense is very good. They shut down two of the best offenses in the country. Nebraska is one dimensional on offense and they can't rely on their defense to win. Think the money line here.

Iowa -16 @ Minnesota
Iowa is coming together finally. And we all know about how bad Minnesota is. Despite the fact that both Iowa's losses have come on the road, I think that is broken this week.

Afternoon Drive Thru
Colorado @ Arizona State - 31
The lone home team QBT is taking this week. And if you have read this space you know why. Next up on the CU cash train is ASU.

Evening Blue Plate Specials
Clemson -3.5 @ Georgia Tech
Clemson is 7-1 ATS and still isn't garnering a decent line against perceived quality opponents. I say perceived because GT is now is 4-3-1 ATS and hasn't covered in 5 weeks. Keep disrespecting Clemson, Books. I'll be here.

Stanford -7.5 @ USC
Stanford hasn't miss a cover all season. USC is quality, but this line is too small.

Wisconsin -7 @ Ohio State
Good teams don't lose too weeks in a row. I've had questions about Wiscy's team all season and last week bore them out a bit. That said TOSU isn't TOSU this season. And Beilema is pissed. Bucky wins easy.

NVNole Lock of The Week
Missouri +10 @ Texas AM
The Tigers need this win to get their season back on track. This is a classic trap game for The Aggies as they will be looking forward to Oklahoma next week.

QBT Season Record: 14-16
The Lock: 1-4
