In My Defense: Big East

Another week has come and gone in the Big East and the picture actually looks a little clearer. As more my view? Well that's not quiet in full 1080 HD, but it's getting there.

Let's take a look at the week that was:

Syracuse - 21
UConn - 28
My Pick: Syracuse 24-21
In My Defense: Well as I predicted Syracuse isn't good on the road. And this game was as close as I thought. I think what we need to do is remember: Syracuse on the road: bad. Syracuse at home: good.

Louisville - 38
West Virginia - 35
My Pick: West Virginia 27-14
In My Defense: I thought these defenses would have more of an impact on this game. Louisville is on a role. Winning in Morgantown is quite a feat. I think the Cardinals have finally bought into Coach Strong. Three in a row and if things play out they could get a share of the Big East title.

South Florida - 17
Rutgers - 20
My Pick: Rutgers 24-20
In My Defense: OT game. 2 turn overs a piece. Kinda played out how I though it would.

Cincinnati -26
Pittsburgh - 23
My Pick: Cincinnati 35-10
In My Defense: Looks like Pitt showed up for this game. They did a nice job shutting down the running game. But Sunseri and the boys just didn't have enough in the 4th quarter. Cincinnati showed by they sit atop the conference in this game.

Not bad this week as I went 2-2.

Let's take a look at this action:

South Florida @ Syracuse
Pittsburgh @ Louisville
West Virginia @ Cincinnati
Rutgers @ Army
