Quick Buck Thursday: Now with bonus picks

Weeeeellllll, it's back. Another Thursday in which I return to you with my tail between my legs. Holy Hell you should've heard me at the bar. A poor family had to eschew their children out of the establishment. But really who brings their kids to a bar? What, Applebees is a bar.

Needless to say last week was again brutal so I worked extra hard this week to find some diamonds in the rough. But before we get to those gems, let's review last week's destruction.

Michigan State - 3
Nebraska - 24
QBT Pick: MSU +4
College football is a weird and wonderful place. NU gets throttled by Wisconsin. MSU bets Wisconsin. Therefore NU demolishes Sparty. Yeah that makes total sense. That was a giant turd, Little Brother. Terrible. PS I hate you.

Iowa - 21
Minnesota - 22
QBT Pick: Iowa -14
There are no words. And yet, somehow Iowa will find a way to beat Michigan this week.

Colorado - 14
Arizona State - 48
QBT Pick: ASU -31
Thankfully one constant stayed alive for me. All hail the Buffs!

Clemson - 17
Georgia Tech - 31
QBT Pick: Clemson -3.5
By the time this game was over I was hammered, had lost most of my parlays and teasers. I gave up and went to a Halloween party. I'm vowing to stay away from all things Georgia Tech from now on.

Stanford - 56
USC - 48
QBT Pick: Stanford -7.5
I expected this to be pretty close and like I said the line was just a little short. Thankfully college has awesome overtime rules.

Wisconsin - 29
OSU - 33
QBT Pick: Wisconsin -7
Well there it is. Wisconsin is not good on the road. Good luck at Minnesota! PS I'm starting to hate you as much as MSU. Congrats.

Two is better than one, I guess. 2-4 for the week. Let's move on.

This week we're going to let you sleep in and just enjoy the morning slot.

Lunch Counter Delights
Stanford -21 @ Oregon State
There are two things that are certain in the Pac 12. One is Stanford will cover. The other we'll discuss later.

Southern Miss -9 @ East Carolina
It took a few weeks, but So Miss is on QBT radar. The are 6-0 ATS in their last 6. Since an early two ATS wins ECU hasn't quite been the same. So Miss is a quality ball club too.

Arkansas St -17 @ Florida Atlantic
Here's one of those little gems I was talking about. Ark St is 7-1 ATS. Their only loss ATS was a win against a solid WKY team. Couple that with a not so good 2-5 ATS FAU team and it looks like a win to me.

Evening Fine Dining
Florida State -15 @ Boston College
Since I've been forced to watch every FSU game this season with NV Nole, I can tell you this, FSU is a different team with EJ Manuel. They are 4-1 ATS when he plays the whole game. BC on the other hand is a dumpster fire.

Kansas State @ Oklahoma St -21
Not only are the Cowboys 7-1 ATS, but did you see what Landry Jones did to poor KSU last week? Yikes. Unless they are looking ahead, I can't see KSU keeping this close on the road.

USC -21.5 @ Colorado
You know the drill. I'm a little worried about the travel and the hangover after last week's near upset of Stanford. But CU is 0-5 ATS at home. I think USC bounces back okay.

Before we get to the NV Nole lock, I have a couple of other intriguing thing for you consideration:

Mizzou/Baylor over 73
Baylor has gone over or pushed in each game this season

Duke/Miami under 56.5
Duke has been under in all but two games (one of which was a push). Those unders included Stanford, VT and FSU.

Nebraska/Northwestern over 63.5
NW has been over in each game with Persa at QB, . They can't play defense. Against teams with good offenses NU has struggled.

And now the NV Nole Lock of the Week:
Virginia -2 @ Maryland
Since QBT took my So Miss can't lose bet, I'll jump over to the ACC and grab Virginia. They've got momentum and the money is flowing in on them since the line jumped from Maryland -2.5 to Virginia -2.

QBT Season Record: 16-20
The Lock: 2-4
