Drake's Divination Week 10: Roll *gulp* Tide

So the old man didn't care for Slayer last week. So I thought maybe I'd put something up that was more his speed. How's that Dad?

Last week wasn't the best but it was still good. Let's reflect.

Week 10 Divination

I think I got a little carried away with my Oregons last week. All the experts here in Vegas were talking about both Oregon State and Oklahoma being on upset alert. I should've listened. Regardless, still up for the week and the year. Let's roll on.

Middle Tennessee State (5-3, 3-1 Sun Belt) @ Western Kentucky (6-2, 3-1 Sun Belt)
Thursday 11/1, 9:15 ET ESPNU
Line: WKY -9

You know I'm always iffy about Thursday night games. And I usually try to avoid them. But for this game I'll make and exception. Western Kentucky is playing well and will be up for this game in the national spotlight. They still have an chance at the Sun Belt title and MTSU is standing in that path. WKY is an impressive 7-1 ATS and I think it continues this week.

WKY 33 - 22

Missouri (4-4, 1-4 SEC) @ (7) Florida (7-1, 6-1 SEC)
Saturday 11/3, Noon ET ESPN2
Line: Florida -17

Florida is still has a shot at the MNC. I know there is always talk about the bubble bursting effect, but I don't think that happens at home. Mizzou was beat by SCAR, Georgia and Alabama by more than three touchdowns. I put Florida in thesame category as those three. I don't expect this to be less than three scores.

Florida 35 - 13

Pittsburgh (4-4, 1-3 Big East) @ (3) Notre Dame (8-0, 5-0)
Saturday 11/3, 3:30 ET NBC
Line: ND -16.5

Is it time to start saying Notre Dame is legit? I'm still not sold. OU is a paper tiger and I wouldn't be shocked if they lost this weekend in Ames. What I do know is, Pitt is not so good. This is by far their toughest game. I also don't worry about Kelly holding back. He still knows people are skeptical about the offense and they certainly won't be looking ahead to BC.

Notre Dame 31 - 3

San Jose St (6-2, 2-1 WAC) @ Idaho (1-7, 1-2 WAC)
Saturday 11/3, 5:00 ET ESPN Gameplan
Line: SJST -19

I think the WAC is going to end up buying me a new car before this year is out. Idaho is flat out bad. They are 1-7 ATS, where SJST is 6-2 ATS with their only losses against Stanford and my WAC fav, Utah St. I'm not sure why this line isn't higher because going to Idaho? I guess the dome and what not. Don't fret, Spartans take care of business.

SJST 45 - 24

(1) Alabama (8-0, 5-0 SEC) @ (5) LSU (7-1, 3-1 SEC)
Saturday 11/3, 8:00 ET CBS
Line: Bama - 9.5

It's the SEC Guy's favorite wet dream. I'm sure he's going to write a small book about this week's game. Yeah, I can't wait either. This is clearly the Tide's biggest challenge to date. Alabama has shown this in not last year's team. But, LSU has too. And with a bigger contrast. I don't care if I had to bet my life on this game, I'm still not watching it. Between Gary Danielson slobbering over the SEC and that stupid inside pitch thing LSU does, forget about it. LSU is 3-5 ATS, Bama is 5-3. I think Bama puts an authoritative stamp on it's number one ranking. I can't believe I'm about to do this...roll tide.

Alabama 33 - 13
