Quick Buck Friday

Well overall we're winning. With my added bonus, you should've gone 3-2. See what happens when you take Denard's name in vain, SEC Guy?

Let's revise the standings:

McCoy - 60
Drake - 51
NV Nole - 25
SEC Guy - 25

Week 6

Drake's Pick

Tulane @ Louisiana Lafayette -26.5  - 20 Units
It's pretty simple, really. Tulane has scored three, count em, three touchdowns in four games. They are not good. They got pasted last week by Monroe. Tulane is 1-3 ATS and are terrible on defense. Lafayette, should cover this with no problems.

McCoy's Pick

Washington @ Oregon -24.5 - 10 Pepperoni Sticks
Have you noticed my unit has tripled in size since this contest began? Just sayin.

Oregon has proven they struggle to cover the big point spreads bestowed upon them by the odds makers with a 1-4 record ATS. Washington is fresh off of a huge win in Seattle. I think they keep this close enough to win you money taking the 24.5 points.

SEC Guy's Pick

Georgia @ South Carolina (-1) - 25 inches off Brady Hoke's expanded waistline
I'm all in on the Gamecocks. I think their defense, especially their defensive line, will do enough to shut down the Bulldogs. Connor Shaw and Marcus Lattimore will make enough plays for USC (and no, I don't mean "that overrated team out west") to pull this one out. And don't underestimate a raucous crowd at Williams-Brice Stadium. And, loyal readers, I'll make a pledge to you right now - if I do win, every week for the rest of the year, I'm going all in until I either lose my unit (yikes!) or I bring home the first annual QBF Bobblehead Trophy! Of course, even if I lose my last unit this week (will it hurt?), at least I'll always have this.

The "NV Nole Forgot About QBF" Bonus Pick
Miami OH +20 @ Cincinnati
So NV Nole got distracted with work things this week, and we know you're accustom to getting at least four picks in this space. So I'm taking it upon myself to throw in a bonus pick this week. We won't put it against any of the season standings (I know you were nervous about that).

Alright, I was hoping this line would've dropped under 19, because Cincy has been good to me thus far. Instead it went the other way. Which, in thinking about it again, is good. I think the public may be over reacting to Cincy's VT victory. VT is not a good football team right now. This is going to be a classic let down game to Cincy. Miami (NTM) will make things uncomfortable for Cincy early, before the Bearcats pull away in the second half. Take Miami and the points.
