Quick Buck Thursday: Creeping Into Week 10

Happy Halloween!

A touch over .500 last week with Tulane coming through in the big unit bet. Not bad. In this week's edition of Quick Buck Thursday we're going to put a scare into the sports books.

Unit Roll - 36 Units

South Florida @ Houston -18 - 3 Units
A Thursday night Halloween special! The only thing this is going to be scary for is the Bulls though. Houston is perfect ATS and should move to 8-0 with little issue. Mostly because USF is 0-9 ATS in their last nine Thursday games.

Arizona -16 @ California - 1 Unit
I know I know. I can't seem to learn my lesson with Rich Rod and AZ. But I think we're in the clear this time. Cal is just 1-7 ATS on the year and gives up lots and lots of rushing yards. Not to mention they are 0-5 at home. But I'll still only go 1 unit to be safe.

Navy @ (25) Notre Dame -17 - 3 Units
Here are the scores of the last two ND/Navy games: 56 - 14 and 50 -10.  I think Kelly has this option thing figured out. Not to mention they just got done playing Air Force whom they beat 45 - 10. We're good.

(11) Auburn -8 @ Arkansas - 5 Units
Malzahn and company are locked in right now. They have been destroying teams with suspect defenses. And guess who has a suspect defense? The hogs gave up 30 to Florida. Even if Marshall doesn't play, the Freshman seemed capable enough in relief last week and with a week of practice, he'll be good to go.

East Carolina -23.5 @ Florida International - 5 Units
ECU isn't a cover machine by any stretch, but FIU is a really bad team. And last week the Pirates smoked an equally bad team in S. Miss. So that's why I'm going with two 5 unit games this week.

The Baylor Bears Bonus Over Of The Week
Arizona State @ Washington State - Over 71.5

No more UNLV. I got it. We will stay out west though. The Devils are 6-1 on the over this season. And Leach and the Cougars are capable of ripping off points. No tricks in this one, just TD treats.

The Bob Drake "I need another team for my 21 point teaser" Double Bonus
Minnesota @ Indiana - Over 65.5

Neither of these teams play great defense. If the gophers want any chance of winning this thing they'll need to match Indiana's tempo and score points. The only time Indiana didn't go over this season was against Bowling Green who only kicked in 10 points. The 65.5 will be gone by the 3rd quarter.
