Lazy Man's Michigan Preview: Nebraska Cornhuskers

What does a 50 year old video have to do with Michigan football? Did you see Gardner's jersey last week?

Nebraska Cornhuskers (6-2, 3-1 B1G) @ Michigan Wolverines (6-2, 2-2 B1G)
Saturday, 11/9 3:30 pm ET Michigan Stadium

Well I have been super, super lazy with these this season. I've missed a couple previews and dammit it's shown. At least that's what I'm telling myself. Well, no more Mr. Gardner. This week the line will protect you and you will no longer have to spend hours finding videos about getting help.

Offense
Someone please block. Halfway through the third quarter last week, I scared the BeJesus out of the family when I yelled for someone to block. I hope that this week Borges showed Devin that he has more receivers than just Gallon and to trust what he sees. Now he was eating green shirts all last week, but he was hesitant. Some get a Taye Diggs over to Gardner pronto. Look for Michigan to try and get Toussaint on the edge and get some easy completions for Gardner early.

Defense
Stop Abdullah. Has anyone ever tried to spy a RB? If not this would be the time to try it. Michigan has been pretty good against the run all year so they should have success this week if the offense can keep them off the damn field. I'm sure Abdullah will get some kind of big run this game, only if that run is not a TD run and it only happens once, success is on the horizon. Third and long's haven't been great for this defense. But with these QB's it'll be a welcome sight.

Special Teams
Don't fumble and don't miss kicks.

Prediction
I don't know, man. Before last week I would've said, easy Michigan victory. But the Spartans ripped out my soul and have me thinking about "The Rock", how sweet Stauskas's stroke is and when McGary will be back. More than anything I hope Michigan "looks" like a winning football team. But the game is at home and they usually play better there. Home win streak and all. It likely won't be pretty and I'll shrug my shoulders when it's over.

Michigan 38 - 17

What's the rest of the blogdom thinking:

MGoBlog is as confused as I've ever seen them but says victory.

Big House Blog is looking for something to believe in.

Maize N Blue Nation says taking care of the ball and stopping the run are the keys.

Maize N Brew thinks people are overreacting and Michigan is just fine.

M&GB staff predictions are in and it looks rosey!

Touch The Banner says convincing win.
